If the issue persists or the Signing algorithm could not be changed, it is recommended to contact the in-app support of Outlook for Mac. I am seeing dozens of sync errors for an old event that I tried to delete before upgrading to Outlook 2016 Mac full install from Outlook 2011. These errors are being generated constantly and fill the Sync Errors window.
Hello, I downloaded Outlook for Mac a few months ago. I immediately started having issues when sending emails with attachments. The email would go to the Outbox and then all of a sudden it would say I'm disconnected from the server (on the bottom right).
Emails that are really small in size will go through fine. Ram for 2012 macbook pro. Emails above 200kb = death disconnect for 10 minutes at a time. Once the email sends, I will typically get a response from the receiver saying they have received my email twice.
Microsoft office for mac reviews. Keyboard shortcuts save time, even on the Mac. Here is a list of commonly-used keyboard shortcuts for Microsoft Office on the Mac. We have included OneNote, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and some basic universal shortcuts to start with. We’ll even show you how to create your own custom. I was a windows user and I used Office on my previous windows PC a lot. Recently I have shifted to Mac and I have bought an Office foe Mac 2011. Now in windows I was very much used to Alt key. Many of the shortcuts that use the Ctrl key on a Windows keyboard also work with the Control key in Office 2016 for Mac. However, not all do. Note: If a shortcut requires pressing two or more keys at the same time, this topic separates the keys with a plus sign (+).
I only press send once and I just leave the application up. Twiddle my thumbs while I wait.
I use the OWA version because the application is too frustrating to work with. There was an update available so I downloaded it but I keep getting the errors. I've had 10 disconnects today. The Sync Errors says 'An Unknown Error has occurred in Outlook'. Details: Mail could not be sent. Error Code: -998 I've tried deleting the exchange account and adding it back.
I've tried uninstalling Outlook for Mac and reinstalling. I'm not really sure what else I can try.
I've done other random suggestions that people had for Outlook 2013 but nothing is working for Outlook 2016. The PC version of Outlook 2016 works fine. Thank you, Peter Version: Microsoft Outlook for Mac Version 15.24 License: Office 365 Subscription. Hi Peter, Firstly, here is the summary of the issues you encountered. If I misunderstand anything, please correct me. When you send emails with large attachments, the messages go to Outbox and you get an error “An Unknown Error has occurred in Outlook'.
Details: Mail could not be sent. Error Code: -998” When you force to send them in Outbox, the receivers say they received two duplicate emails. When you log in to your OWA or Citrix environment and click on the 'Sent' items, the emails look like they are drafts. May I confirm if you send the same emails in OWA, can the receiver receive duplicate ones? And what version is your Exchange server?
Please try the followings to check if there are any improvements. Update your Outlook for Mac (Help > Check for Updates) and Mac OS to the latest versions. Everyone should have reviewer access to everyones calendar, and one or two need editor access to the CEO’s. I have set the permissions for every user via powershell, and also manually for each user via the web interface. My problem is that Outlook for Mac keeps saying permissions are not correct and not letting a user add the calendar. Or, it will let them add the calendar, but it won’t populate.
It’s also only some users. Example: User 1 gives everyone review access to their main calendar. Users 2-8 have no issue adding it to Outlook. Users 9 & 10 get an error saying they don’t have permission. User 2 has shared their calendar, and users 1, 3-9 can add it, but no data shows up/syncs. User 10 gets a no permissions error, can’t add the calendar.

Using the Outlook web app, everyone has the correct access without issue. I have run powershell repairs with support, manually adjusted settings, tested on Windows and it works fine.
