One of my first posts in this community, so please bear with the naive questions. I hate my Magic Keyboard and Mouse. I detest my MBP'17 keyboard for coding tasks. Unfortunately, I dont have a choice to downgrade. So, I bought the last week and while I like the build and my overall experience, I am a bit peeved with the wired setup.

Besides, I still have my Magic Mouse which leaves me with an ached wrist at the end of every workday! I am used to having to plug both my wireless keyboard and mouse and would love to hear any suggestions about the same.

I have a wired Kinesis Advantage keyboard, which imo is totally worth it for the ergonomics + it's mechanical also. Finding different key caps can be a pain if you are into that sort of thing, but Kinesis sells their own key caps too if you buy one used and want to put clean caps on. As for mouse, I use the Logitech MX Ergo Plus Trackball, or whatever the hell their most expensive trackball is named. I've been using it for about 7 months straight and could not see myself going back to a typical mouse ever again honestly. You are asking for a difficult combination: most mechanical keyboards are wired and most of them are not ergonomic.

If you also want a keyboard “for Mac” (you can use any keyboard, but the keycaps might have the “PC” labels) then this is even more tricky. I know that produces ergonomic and wireless keyboards for Mac using Matias switches (modern Alps clones, the switches that were used in the Apple Extended Keyboard I and II) but there is not a combination that is both ergonomic and wireless.
